Line Items

The following items are ineligible for funding across all SEC funds, including EOF, LNF, IHF, and BC. Please ensure compliance with the individual fund you're applying to for any additional requirements.

1. Promotional Materials and Team Merchandise: These items are not covered under any of the SEC funds. This includes any materials or merchandise used for promotional purposes or team branding. This includes any team t-shirts/polos, buisness cards, and stickers. 
2. Gifts and Giveaways: Items intended as gifts or for promotional giveaways are not eligible for funding. This includes prizes, rewards, and gift cards.
3. Awards and Honors: Any items that are used to recognize or honor individuals or groups, such as awards or ceremonial items, are ineligible for funding. This includes graduation cords, stoles, medals, and trophies.
4. Gasoline: Gasoline expenses are generally not eligible, with the specific exception of fuel used for built vehicles as part of a project or competition.
5. Food and Drinks: Expenses related to food and drinks are not covered by SEC funds. This includes any meals, snacks, or beverages purchased for events or meetings.
6. Scholarships: Funding cannot be used to provide scholarships. This includes any form of financial aid or tuition assistance.
7. Compensation: Salaries, wages, or any other forms of compensation for individuals are not eligible for funding. This restriction applies to both personal and team-based projects.
8. Individual and/or Group composites: Funding cannot be used for individual or group composites. This includes any form of photography or videography intended for personal or group representation.
