Purpose and Impact
The International Humanitarian Fund is a fund dedicated to helping organizations and students work towards international aid through service projects, education efforts, or improving pre-existing infrastructure.
Established through an initial $120,000 donation from the SEC, this fund was endowed as the "SEC International Humanitarian Engineering Endowment" within the Virginia Tech Foundation.
To sustain this impact, the SEC actively supplements the fund’s endowed returns, ensuring it meets the annual $14,000 allocation for student and organizational support.
