How to Use the “Resume Book” Feature

The “Resume Book” feature is a powerful tool located under the “Student Profiles” tab on our platform. It allows recruiters to efficiently browse through candidate profiles, apply filters, and manage connections. Note that the resume book is included only in select packages but can be purchased separately as an add-on. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to make the most of this feature:

Accessing the Resume Book

After the event, a full export of the registered students will be made available. Before and during the event, the Resume Book may be accessed via Swapcard. You can access the Resume Book by following these instructions:

  1. Login to Swapcard: Using the email you provided during registration, open the event platform and login. If not registered yet, please follow the instructions on how to get added to your employers profile!
  2. Navigate to the Student Profiles Tab: Open the platform and select the “Student Profiles” tab at the top of the page.
  3. Now you sort and filter to find your ideal candidates!
    • Filters Available: Utilize the filtering options on the left-hand side of the screen to sort candidates by criteria such as School Year, Major, Seeking Positions, Expected Graduation, and Work Authorization.
    • Search Function: Use the search bar to refine the list by entering specific keywords or names.

Viewing Individual Profiles

  1. Profile Overview: Click on a student’s profile to open a detailed view. This view provides comprehensive information about the candidate, including their academic background, expected graduation, positions they are seeking, and more!
  2. Connection Requests: From the detailed profile view, recruiters can send connection requests directly to the student. This facilitates further communication and engagement with potential candidates.
  3. Resume Access: Each profile includes an option to view the student’s submitted resume. This allows recruiters to review detailed qualifications and experiences that may not be fully captured in the profile overview.
