Making the Most of Your Summer: Internships, Research, and Beyond

About
With so many different opportunities to pursue during the summer, it can be difficult to decide what avenue to go down. For this reason, we have invited representatives from a wide variety of on-campus organizations to speak about different opportunities, so that you can find the one that best fits your interests! To begin, the Career & Professional Development Office (CPD) will provide their tips and tricks for standing out at career fairs like Expo, and general advice for finding internships. Then, the Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR) will share various different research opportunities, and walk you through the process of applying for research internships. Lastly, the Center for Enhancing Engineering Diversity (CEED) will discuss the summer positions that CEED is hiring for, the application process, and how to stand out. At the end, there will be a Q&A session for you to get all of your questions answered.
