Responsibilities
The Awards & Scholarships Chair administers all awards as defined by the standing rules of the SEC and facilitates the SEC Scholarship committees. They are also responsible for hosting an awards banquet in the spring semester to recognize award winners.

Background
Varshitha is from Long Island, New York, and came to Virginia Tech to pursue her bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Academically, Varshitha is interested in Cybersecurity and, outside of school. She is also a student researcher for the Use and Abuse research project at the Hume Center. Outside school, Varshitha enjoys music, photography, and watching movies.
