Liam McCary
Responsibilities
The Publicity Chair creates all SEC promotional materials and promotes all SEC events to the Virginia Tech engineering student body while constantly looking to expand the public's knowledge of the SEC. The Publicity Chair has the responsibility to manage the SEC Brand Guidelines and collaborate with engineering organizations to publicize events.

Background
Liam is from Allentown, Pennsylvania, and came to Virginia Tech to discover ways to change the world using engineering. Since, he has joined the third cohort of the Accelerated Leadership Program at Boeing and works as a structural engineer on the NASA Student Launch Design Team. After a year of diving into academics, Liam wanted to work with the community more, and joined the SEC to give back to the engineering community. Outside of Academics, Liam enjoys exploring the outdoors, spending time with friends, and teaching snowboarding in the winter.
